Adopted Local Plan
From 28 September 130 of the 138 policies and 30 of the 35 proposals in the Local Plan have expired.  Only the following policies and proposals have been saved by virtue of the Direction issued by the Secretary of State date 21 September 2007.

The whole Local Plan Document is still available to view but only the saved policies, proposals and relevant notations will be used in determining planning applications.  Planning applications received after 1 August will be determined on the basis of the saved policies and proposals and the policies set out in the submission Core Strategy and Policies DPD and the provisions of the Allocations DPD.

Background information

The Spelthorne Borough Local Plan was formally adopted on 20 April 2001. Alterations to Policies H5 and H6 were adopted on 24 December 2004.  The document It is available from the Council Offices in printed format (£25 plus £3.50 p and p) or may be downloaded free of charge from this website.
