Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)
Statements of Community Involvement seek to set out how we will involve the people of Spelthorne and others with an interest in planning in the Borough in the preparation of the new development plan and in considering planning applications.  

Adoption of the SCI....

Following submission of the Statement of Community Involvement (submission draft) to the Secretary of State for independent examination in March 2006, we received the Inspector's Report on the SCI in September 2006.  The Inspector found the SCI to be sound subject to a few recommendations.  These recommendations have been incorporated in the SCI and the SCI was adopted by the Council on 19 October 2006.
