Following receipt of the requisite notice from two electors, the by-election for the casual vacancy in the Ashford East ward will be held on Thursday 23 October 2008.  The polling hours will be 7am to 10pm and the counting of votes will take please following the close of poll at the Council Offices, Knowle Green, Staines.
