Missed collections

If your wheelie bin has not been collected it could be for one of the following reasons:

Another reason your bin may not have been collected is if your bin is not closed.  Households that put out too much rubbish so that the lids can not be closed will no longer be emptied.

If the above do not apply then you may have been accidentally missed. Please contact us within one working day to report a missed collection and we will arrange to return and empty your bin.

Please note that we will not return to collect missed food waste bins.

You can either phone the helpline on 01784 451499 or complete the online form

Assisted collections

Any resident who is unable to move their wheelie bin to the edge of their property because they are either elderly or infirm can ask for an assisted collection. The wheelie bin will be collected from outside the front door instead of the edge of the property.

Please contact us to be added to the assisted collection list. You can either phone the help line on 01784 451499, complete an
e-form or e-mail customer.services@spelthorne.gov.uk.
