The form, with the details you complete in it, will be sent to the relevant service at Spelthorne Borough Council.   If you choose to give us information about yourself you will be consenting to the collection, processing and storage of the information you provide.  Our policy is that all information will be shared among officers and other agencies where the legal framework allows it, if this will help improve the service you receive and to develop other services. If you do not want certain information about you to be exchanged within the Council, you can request that this does not happen.

Please note that eforms submitted via the website are not encrypted.  This does not apply to online payment information, where all of your personal card details are protected using 128 bit encryption, when transmitted over the Internet.

Any personal data that you may be asked to give will be held and processed in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and with due regard to confidentiality.  We may check information provided by you, or information provided by a third party, with other information held by us. We may also get information about you from certain third parties, or give information to them, to check the accuracy of information, to detect or prevent crime, or to protect public funds in other ways, as permitted by law.  These third parties include government departments and other local authorities.
