Special collection of household waste request form

Spelthorne Borough Council provides a collection service for household waste which cannot be collected as part of the normal collection service.

There is a minimum charge for this service of £45 for 1,2 or 3 items, inclusive of VAT.  If you have more than 3 items, please add £5 per extra item. 

The following notes are for your guidance:

1. Collection of waste subject to the appropriate charge:

Items such as fridges, freezers, cookers, driers, beds, mattresses, televisions, carpet, garden furniture, cupboards etc. Other items of similar weight and size will be considered.

2. Collections subject to negotiated charges:

(i) Any item exceeding 25 kilograms in weight

(ii) Any item exceeding 1 metre in length or 750mm in diameter, excluding those listed above

(iii) Waste generated from the clearance of garages, sheds or outbuildings

(iv) Waste generated from the clearance of a house.

3. Items to be collected must be placed on ground level, outside, in an easily accessible position, within the curtilage of your property.

4. In the event of any dispute regarding items for collection, the Council's decision is final.
