Residents will shortly be receiving a form or an email/SMS from Spelthorne Borough Council's elections team, asking them to check that the details we hold are correct. We urge everyone to check their details, read the instructions carefully, and if required to respond, do so as promptly as possible to avoid receiving a reminder or personal visit from a canvasser. This is to ensure the electoral register is up-to-date and will also help to identify residents who have not registered to vote.

Householders can respond either online, by telephone, SMS, or by returning the form to the Electoral Services Team.  

Surrey County Council and Police & Crime Commissioner elections will be taking place across the Borough in May 2021. Residents must be registered to ensure they are eligible to vote in these elections.
