Health and safety
The Commercial team are responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees and non-employees within non-industrial workplaces in the Borough; Environmental Health Officers have a duty to:

  • inspect workplaces within the district;
  • investigate reportable accidents;
  • take part in health and safety initiatives and involve local business;
  • provide advice to businesses within the area.
