Arson
The Surrey Arson Task Force was set up by the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service in a bid to reduce the number of arson  attacks across Surrey using government funding.

Police Neighbourhood Panels
You can meet with your local neighbourhood specialist officer at a neighbourhood panel meeting.

Graffiti in Spelthorne
The Borough-wide graffiti cleaning squad responds to all graffiti on Council property on a continuous basis and priorities offensive graffiti.

CCTV
CCTV cameras are deployed in 'hotspots' around the Borough.  Some of the schemes include contributions from the retailers themselves.

Spelthorne Neighbourhood Watch
Neighbourhood watch helps to develop close liaison between households in a neighbourhood and so provide safer stronger communities.
Cleaner safer neighbourhoods
A new street scene team is to be created to tackle environmental issues. Using new powers under the Cleaner Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 that include fixed penalty notices the team will be targeting problems such as litter and dog fouling.
Community Warden
Mick Raynor is the warden for Stanwell. He is working to improve the quality of life for local residents, reduce fear of crime, provide reassurance and improve the physical appearance of the area.
