Anti-social behaviour incident diary
Why complete an Incident Diary?
When you raise a concern regarding the behaviour of one or more individuals in your neighbourhood, Incident Diary sheets are used to record any misbehaviour that you experience from them. Affected residents in the area should also be asked to complete the incident diary sheets.
Download the Incident Diary (pdf - 94kb) or click on the online form.
Once you have completed any sheets pass them to your local Police Neighbourhood Specialist Officer or the Anti-social Behaviour Officer. They will look at any complaints recorded and then make a decision on whether there is sufficient evidence to take action against the offender(s).
Will I have to put my name in the Incident Diary?
No. If you are frightened and fear that you may be verbally or physically abused, you can complete the diary without naming yourself, however the Court may take your evidence more seriously if you are willing to identify yourself.
How should I complete the diary?
Download the Incident Diary and follow the instructions included.
