What is Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch is a method of developing closer liaison between households in a neighbourhood with the local police and the authorities. The aim is to:

  • help reduce crime and the fear of crime
  • make your area safer to live in
  • give advice on reporting incidents
  • provide home security advice
  • provide reassurance
by fostering a community spirit through neighbours working together.
