Firework safety

Environmental Health (health promotion) has promoted firework safety at the Spelthorne Junior Citizen Project. The multi-agency project is attended by all year 6 pupils in the Spelthorne area and runs every October for three weeks. Approximately 1200 pupils attend. The police, fire service, school nurses, road safety, royal life saving society and railtrack also promote various safety messages.
