Computer courses for the over 50's

Computer courses at day centres Would you like someone to bring your shopping to your house without having to go to the supermarket?

Do you know someone overseas you want to stay in touch without expensive phone calls?

Is there something you would like to find more information about but don’t know where to look?

Would you like to find out more about computers and what you can do on them but are too afraid to ask?

If you answer yes to any of these questions why not come and join one of our Silver Surfer Courses?

We now offer a variety of computer courses for the over 50’s at the following locations:

Staines Community Centre
Fordbridge Day Centre
Greeno Day Centre
Sunna Lodge (Booked through Churchill Hall)

Our courses are aimed at the beginner and intermediate level and are either one-to-one training, or in small groups of up to four people.

We offer set programme courses for a number of weeks, or you can book an hour with a trainer who will show you exactly what you want to know.

You don’t need to have any previous knowledge or experience of computers. One of our members, Billie Filler, with no previous computer experience has written an autobiography on the computer complete with photographs.  Our ‘Growing up fast’ pages shows you what Billie achieved, and see what you too could achieve.

For more information about current courses or to book a timeslot with a trainer for your own needs please contact your local Day Centre or Staines Community Centre

Staines Community Centre also offers course for the blind and partially sighted on Fridays, 10am – 3pm
