In partnership with Surrey Chambers of Commerce we run a scheme to help new businesses through their start -up period.  The scheme will help to reduce the statistic recently released by the Federation of Small Businesses which is that 60% of new companies fold within their first three years. This scheme has been welcomed by everyone who has come into contact with it and furthermore Business Link Surrey is offering a monthly clinic to support the businesses to ensure they are doing what is necessary for them to succeed. Each business has been given a business mentor who is in the same industry as that business and the mentor will provide them with a source of real industry experience. For £150 per month you can move out of your home environment and into an office area where you will have a desk and filing cabinet. The office, as well as being divided among the businesses, has a private meeting room, rest area and a full time receptionist to help the businesses complete their administrative work.
