Description: The Council on 23rd October 2003 adopted a new Members’ Allowances Scheme under the Local Authorities (Members’ Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003, covering the payments to Councillors in respect of basic allowances, special responsibility allowances, care allowances for dependants, Travel and subsistence allowances and Allowances for Co-optees.
