Service Area: Spelthorne Personal Alarms Network (SPAN)
Description: SPAN gives peace of mind to elderly and disabled people, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. An individual linking in to SPAN has an emergency alarm which, at the touch of a button, will raise assistance very quickly. When the button or the pendant is pressed, the unit will make a telephone call to a Care Centre. The Care Centre is staffed 24 hours a day by friendly, efficient Operators who are trained to obtain help straight away.
