General The Council submitted the Core Strategy and Policies Development Plan Document (DPD) and the Allocations DPD to the Secretary of State on 14 June 2007. Both documents were readvertised from 6 March-17 April 2008. The Secretary of State appointed an independent Inspector, Ms Sara Morgan LLB, MA, to examine both the documents and consider the representations that have been made. The hearing sessions to examine the Core Strategy and Policies DPD took place between 2 and 17 September 2008. The Inspector’s report is anticipated to be published by the end of December 2008. Subject to the outcome of the Inspector’s report, arrangements for the examination of the Allocations DPD will be made in 2009. All examination arrangements were made by the Programme Officer, Geoff Benge TechRTPI. Any outstanding queries relating to the hearings should be emailed to him at: g.benge@spelthorne.gov.uk Examination of the Core Strategy and Policies DPD - detailed information: Related pages
