At the Exploratory Meeting on 4 December 2007 the Council proposed some amendments to the Core Strategy and Policies Development Plan Document in order to overcome some procedural and presentational issues relating to the clarity of the document.  Accordingly at the full Council Meeting on 21 February it was agreed to re-advertise both the Core Strategy and Policies DPD and the Allocations DPD which were originally submitted to the Secretary of State in June 2007.   The consultation period which has now ended ran from 6 March until 17 April 2008.  Copies of all valid representations received will be available on the web as soon as they have been processed.  As soon as possible we will commence a six week consultation on the alternative allocations which have been put forward by those making representations in this latest consultation. A second pre examination meeting for the Core Strategy and Policies DPD is being arranged for the 8 July 2008 at 2pm and the Public Examination is due to commence on 2 September 2008, details will be available in due course. Please note; all previous representations remain valid and there is no need to repeat any representation made at the submission stage last year.
