A key worker is someone who is employed in a job that provides an essential service to the local community. We accept the following categories of professions as key workers: If you are a key worker in Spelthorne and currently looking for housing, it is essential that your name is on our  Housing Register. This may also give you access to rented housing association accommodation. Alternatively, it will allow you to apply to the Government’s HomeBuy scheme which is managed on our behalf by Catalyst Housing Group.  Further information can be found  on the Catalyst HomeBuy website (external website) or contact Catalyst Housing Group on 0845 601 7729.
