The links on this page help you find out about the Council’s Planning Committee including dates of future meetings, agendas for the next committee (details are available five working days before a meeting), officers reports to the Committee, agendas and minutes of previous Committees and public speaking arrangements.  Details back to January 2001 are available electronically and earlier dates on request. The Planning Committee makes decisions about the more major planning applications and any proposed enforcement action.  Decisions on minor proposals are delegated to the Head of Planning and Housing Strategy. Committee dates, agendas and minutes This link will take you to a list of Planning Committee agendas and minutes for the last four years and the dates of the next Committee.  It also gives a link to a list of Planning Committee Members and their contact details.  The Planning Committee meets ever four weeks on Wednesday evenings starting at 6.45pm.  Meetings are held in the Council Chamber and anyone can come and listen.  This link also gives areas of information about public speaking arrangements at the Committee.
