Development Plan Documents (DPDs) | Spelthorne Development Plan - Adopted Core Strategy and Policies DPD | Adopted Allocations DPD

General The Council submitted the Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD) and the Core Strategy and Policies DPD to the Secretary of State on 14 June 2007. Both documents were readvertised from 6 March-17 April 2008. The Secretary of State appointed an independent Inspector, Ms Sara Morgan LLB, MA, to examine both the documents and consider the representations that were made.  Following the adoption of the Core Strategy and Policies DPD, the examination hearing sessions for the Allocations DPD took place on 12 May, and the Inspector’s Report was received on 29 June 2009.  The document was found sound, subject to some changes specified by the Inspector in her report (Appendices A and B), and was formally adopted at Full Council on 17 December 2009.
