New garden waste collection schemeCurrent garden waste colelction schemeHow does it work?Any Spelthorne resident wishing to have their green garden waste collected from their property is required to use the Spelthorne bio-degradable garden waste sacks which are on sale at day centres, libraries and the Council Offices at 50p each. The sacks need to placed at the front edge of your property by 6am on the day of collection (the same as your domestic rubbish).
The bags must be visible from the road and not weigh more than 10kg. Information on what can and cannot be placed in the sack is written on the sack itself.
Avoid placing non degradable materials in with your garden waste as it will contaminate the load and not be collected.
Should there be a delay, for any reason, your garden waste will be collected a soon as possible.
