Spelthorne Youth Awards - where unfound stars can shine!
The awards ceremony has now been postponed until 19 May 2012 and the closing date for nominatons has been extended to 30 March 2012.
Do you know a special young person aged between 5 and 19 who is living or receiving education within Spelthorne and deserves recognition for their achievements?You may wish to nominate them for a Spelthorne Youth Award.  The categories for the awards are:-
Cllr Penny Forbes-Forsyth, Cabinet Member for Parks and Leisure said: “There are many exceptional young people in the Borough who don’t receive enough recognition for their achievements but the Spelthorne Youth Awards offer a rare opportunity to publicly recognise and celebrate their talents and contributions.  If you know an inspirational young person, we would really like to hear from you.” Anyone can nominate a young person for an award by The closing date for nominations is 30 March 2012.
