Overview
The Asset Management Service has a supporting role similar to those of Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology. Asset Management‘s customers are Council staff who provide services to Spelthorne residents from the land or property the Council owns.
It is the responsibility of Asset Management to know what is owned, how much all the land and property costs to maintain and whether or not it makes a constuctuve contribution to what we do. From this we make decisions on what improvements or investments are made, what planned maintenance is needed and what we recommend is bought or sold
This is achieved in partnership with the senior managers responsible for providing services to the public.
