Transparency
The Transparency Agenda

The Prime Minister has launched a transparency programme in all areas of the public sector to open up public expenditure to public examination. There are three main areas:

  • Publication of supplier spending over £500 – this will be updated monthly
  • Publication of contracts over £500 – new contracts as they are signed will be added
  • Publication of senior salaries – will be updated by the end of January 2011
