Celebrating the best of the first 10 years

This year is the tenth anniversary of the Spelthorne Design Awards.

To mark the occasion we organised a special competition for readers of the Borough Bulletin to choose their favourite development in Spelthorne in the past 10 years.  Readers could choose from a shortlist of seven of the best developments selected from previous design award competitions.

The result of the voting was a dead heat between two very different schemes:

• Tilly's Lane and Norris Road in Staines - new pedestrian walkways connecting Staines High Street to the new Two Rivers shopping centre.
