Eco Newsletter
Students from Spelthorne have been writing to us to tell us about the many green initiatives and projects going on within their schools. Articles range from eco weeks and gardening days to models of endangered animal species created using rubbish and 'Poems for the Planet'!

We are sure that you will not only be impressed, but also inspired by student and staff commitments to our environment. We firmly believe that students should be encouraged and supported with their environmental ideas, and that they should be proud of being 'green'.

The Eco Newsletter serves as a source of learning and inspiration for those who would like to introduce and encourage envrionmental projects to their own school. Why not flick through the Eco Newsletter ... perhaps you too will be inspired to recreate one of the projects in your own garden or community group!

We would like to say an enormous thank you to all of the students and staff who submitted newsletter entries; without you, this newsletter would not have been possible. Keep up the good envrionmental work!!

The Eco Newsletter has been produced in partnership with Spelthorne Schools Together.

After a Spelthorne school competition to rename the School Eco-newsletter, Maisie from Beauclerc Infant and Nursery won the competition and the new name is Eco Rangers.  Contributiosn from numerous schools across the borough were submitted to promote the great work that is ongoing by our young residents to help the environment.  The first edition of the newly named Eco-Rangers (3.5mb) is no available.  If you would like to request hard copies please contact Environment Services on 01784 448550.
