The Council submitted the above documents to the Secretary of State on 14 June 2007 and re-advertised them for a further six week public consultation ending on 17 April 2008.  Some respondents put forward alternative sites or suggested changes to the boundaries of designated areas which they proposed should be included in the Development Plan Documents. The Council formally advertised and consulted on these proposed changes, known as Alternative Site Allocations.

Sites 1-7 were advertised from 13 September – 25 October 2007.
Sites 8-42 were put forward during the re-advertisement of the Core Strategy and Policies DPD and advertised, along with updated flood risk areas, from 6 May – 27 June 2008.  

Please note: Alternative Site Allocations 3-7 and 36-42 will be considered as part of the examination of The Core Strategy and Policies Development Plan Document. The remaining sites will be considered at a later date during the examination of the Allocations Development Plan Document.
