Local Plan - Saved policies

Most of the Local Plan has now expired.  From 28 September 2007 Local Planning Authorities can only use those policies and proposals in the Local Plan which have been saved by virtue of a direction issued by the Secretary of State, until such time that they are replaced by any new policies in an adopted DPD.
