Where is my nearest recycling site?

The Council currently has 26 local bank sites where residents can take glass, paper, cans and textiles for recycling. Please see the following information about your nearest site or contact the Council on 01784 451499.

Does the Council supply home composters?

We are part of a Surrey-wide composter scheme (Pdf 1908kb). Composters can be obtained from www.surrey.getcomposting.com (external website) or www.greatgreensystems.com (external website).

How do I dispose of bulky waste?

The Council will continue to operate the usual collection service for bulky waste. There is a charge but if you are receiving income support it is reduced.  More information can be found on our bulky waste page or call 01784 451499.

What do I do with my empty ink cartridges?

You can dispose of your printers empty ink cartridges easily and free of charge through an online company www.inkcartridges.uk.com (external website).  They have a freepost address and will pay you for your empty cartridges.
