Food digesters
Green Cone food digester

Spelthorne Borough Council has teamed up with Green Cone to supply the popular Green Cone food digester and the Green Johanna to residents in the Borough at a greatly reduced rate.

Either item will be able to take wasted food from the entire family and dipose of it effectively and responsibly.  By diverting organic materials from your rubbish bin, emissions of dangerous methane at landfill sites is reduced and the likelihood of unpleasant smells from your bin is eliminated.

Food digesters can be purchased directly from the Green Cone website, www.greencone.com, by typing in your postcode at the following prices:

Green Cone £15 plus £9.95 delivery charge
Green Johanna £20 plus £9.95 delivery charge

Alternatively you can buy your food digester at our Sales Day on 19 April 2008 at Council Offices, Knowle Green, Staines from 10am-2pm and save yourself the delivery charge.
