Care to Learn childcare funding is available to young people under 20 years of age who want to do some form of learning. This does not have to be accredited or linked to a formal qualification.
From 01 August 2008, Care To Learn funding is allocated on a weekly basis, up to a maximum weekly amount of £160.00 (this can also include travel costs).
'On-line applications' commenced from this date, giving almost immediate feedback. Postal applications are possible but the response is much slower. A pre-application form needs to be completed in preparation for going on-line.
