Ready Steady, ho ho ho!

The 2009 Santa Sprint took place at 9.30am on Sunday 6 December.  

After a soggy start to the day over 160 runners and walkers turned up to complete the 1.5 mile course around Staines Town Centre dressed as Santa!  

The winners were Daniel George - under 16 boy, Angel Grimmett - under 16 girl, Andrew McKee - adult male and Louise McKee - adult female who all received a small trophy for finishing first.  Medals were given to everyone who took part.

Over £250 was raised for the Mayors charities along with additonal monies raised by individuals and all the runners were given a free drink by Debenhams
