Hengrove Park
Funding has now been secured to implement the changes to Hengrove Park that we have been discussing with local residents for the past two years.

During February and March 2005, we consulted local residents on the final design for the park before letting contracts to complete the work.

See the current proposed plan (Pdf 6.7mb) of the park, which will be amended slightly in consultation with residents.

The new design has an emphasis on providing enhanced facilities for young people, but also improvements for dog walkers and for active recreation.

Over the past two years we have held two detailed consultation days and undertaken a questionnaire survey, to which 332 residents responded.

We have been working with Groundwork Thames Valley to develop this scheme.  For more information on their role, please visit  www.groundwork.org.uk
