Grants
Spelthorne Council has various different funds available to support local groups in providing activities and services to local people.

Spelthorne Lottery

Spelthorne Council still has funding available from the Spelthorne Lottery, although the Lottery is no longer in operation.

Local organisations can apply for funds to support capital projects eg the purchase of new equipment.

Spelthorne Good Causes Fund

This funding is primarily for projects or proposals of a one-off nature. We would want to see that the project contributes to meeting the Council's objectives.

Revenue grants for voluntary organisations

The Council has an annual grant process for providing financial support to local groups. Applications must be submitted by 12 December. A meeting is held in December/January of each year to make grant awards
Grants normally fall into the following categories:

Housing and Community Care Services
eg  general advisory / social work
eg  help for people with disabilities
eg  housing initiatives
