Spelthorne Sports Awards 2008 – Nominations deadline approaching

The deadline is approaching for the 2008 Spelthorne Sports Awards.

Organised by Spelthorne Borough Council and Spelthorne Sports Council, the Spelthorne Sports Awards are a chance to recognise and celebrate sporting achievements throughout Spelthorne. If you know somebody whose hard work or achievement merits an award please give them the recognition they deserve by nominating them for one.

Nomination forms can be completed online at www.spelthorne.gov.uk/sportsawards.  Alternatively nomination forms are also available by contacting Leisure Services on 01784-446433

The deadline for nominations is Monday 16 June.

As well as the 13 award categories which include awards for exceptional service to sport, outstanding individual performance and disability sports, the awards ceremony will also incorporate the annual Surrey Youth Games awards, recognising the achievements of some of the younger athletes in the borough.
