Latest Bulletin out now!
Published 03.12.2007 15:58
front cover of the December Bulletin
The December issue of the Spelthorne Borough Bulletin is out now.

Inside you’ll find important festive information, such as dates for recycling and rubbish collections; the Leisure centres opening times and the arrangements for the Park and Ride into Staines (pg 3).

There is a detailed feature about respecting the power of nature given the summer floods experienced this year (pgs 12-13), useful tips on Christmas recycling (pgs 8-9) and a positive look at how the Junior Citizen 2007 event made a lasting impression on young people across Spelthorne (pg16).

The Mayor has included the annual Christmas message together with information about his Charity Ball to be held on 29 March 2008 (pg 2).  Other dates for your new-year diary include the family theatre performances and workshops (pgs 6-7).

This latest issue of the Bulletin also contains information about the planned controlled parking consultation and road show (pg11), where Spelthorne residents have the opportunity to meet and talk to councillors and express their views on the proposals.

Copies of the magazine are available from the reception area at the Council’s Knowle Green offices, all Borough libraries and day centres and from Sainsbury’s and Tesco supermarkets in Ashford, Sunbury and Staines. It can also be viewed at the Council’s website www.spelthorne.gov.uk

The Council provides a large print version or cassette copy for blind and partially sighted residents and can offer help with interpretation. Please contact the communications team on 01784 444260.
