Latest Bulletin out now!
Published 12.03.2008 16:02
Spring Bulletin now available! The Spring issue of the Spelthorne Borough Bulletin is out now.

Inside is a feature on the success of recycling in Spelthorne (pages 7-9), thanks to the great commitment from all our residents, to support the new alternate weekly collection system.  By acting now, we can help safe guard our planet for the enjoyment of our future generations.

You’ll find details about the Surrey Youth Games 2008 (page 6), a great way for those sporty kids in the family to keep fit while showcasing their talent.  For those active adults amongst us, we have the Staines 10k Road Race (page 3) to get involved with. It’s a great way of testing your fitness against other runners.

Details about new parking policies and pricing can be found on page 10, together with the dates for the Controlled Parking Zone roadshows. Councillors have also taken the opportunity to talk about projects they have a keen interest in (page 13), such as their Neighbourhood Grants and Older People’s issues.

Not to be missed, the back page (page 16), offers residents the chance to see Mozart’s ‘Marriage of Figaro’ for free!

Copies of the magazine are available from the reception area at the Council’s Knowle Green offices, all Borough libraries and day centres and from Sainsbury’s and Tesco supermarkets in Ashford, Sunbury and Staines.

The Council provides a large print version or cassette copy for blind and partially sighted residents and can offer help with interpretation. Please contact the communications team on 01784 444260.
