New Bulletin is Festival Issue
Published 02.10.2003 17:19
It's Festival time again in Spelthorne - and you can find out all about it in the brand new issue of the Borough Council's free community magazine the Bulletin.

The Spelthorne Community Festival runs throughout May and June and highlights include Staines Street Festival on Saturday, June 1st, Shepperton Village Fair on Saturday, June 8th and a Children's Festival on Sunday, June 9th. Full details of all events are in the Bulletin - including a special discount voucher for local residents to enjoy The Opening Night race night at Kempton Park on Wednesday, June 5th.

Also featured this issue is information on how to enter the Spelthorne in Bloom competition, details of the Borough's new Crime and Disorder Strategy, details of events across the Borough in the summer and updates on playschemes and arts activities for children. Residents could also win £100 by taking part in a survey on the Borough's parks.

The 40,000-circulation magazine is distributed to every household and business in the Borough. Copies are also available from the reception area at the Council's Knowle Green offices, all Borough libraries, Day Centres and from Sainsbury's and Tesco's supermarkets in Ashford, Sunbury and Staines.

The Council provides a large print version or cassette copy of the magazine for blind and partially sighted residents. For more information on how to obtain a copy please contact Adrian Creek on 01784 446297.
