Description: Spelthorne Borough Council licence the following premises involving animals: Pet Shops - selling animals; Dog breeders - breeding five or more litters in a year; Boarding Catteries and Kennels; Riding schools; Keepers of dangerous wild animals. Any private individual wishing to keep a dangerous wild animal must have a licence issued subject to the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976. It is an offence to keep an animal without a licence from the local authority.
