New Application Forms (introduced 1 October 2009)
New arrangements came into force on 1 October 2009 regarding the power to extend the time limits for existing planning permissions. The new form covers planning permissions which are extant both on 1 October and at the date of application and have not yet commenced. The new arrangements cover both listed building and conservation area consents, and also outline permissions.
New arrangements also came into force on 1 October 2009 to apply to make a non material amendment to existing planning permissions under Section 96A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (introduced by Section 190 of the Planning Act 2008).
