Public Access Disclaimer
By using Public Access you can:
- Search a list of applications validated or decided each week;
- View and download copies of drawings and documents submitted with applications;
- Submit comments about an application;
- View letters of representation and/or comments received on an application (for applications received after 1 October 2009);
- Monitor the progress of an application;
- Check any “constraints” associated with a site, including information relating to flood risk, Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Areas, Listed Buildings, Article 4 Directions, Green Belt and Removal of Permitted Development Rights.
- View whether an appeal has been lodged and view any appeal decisions (NB this information is updated daily);
- View details of historic applications;
- View property details by reference to a map; and
- View recent Planning Committee reports and Decision Notices.
- on-line access to the Enforcement Register. View copies of Enforcement Notices and Breach of Condition Notices served over the past five years. (NB This information is updated daily – information on new Enforcement Notices will be available on-line within one working day and a copy of the notice will be available within five working days).
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the data, some of the planning information prior to 28 November 2005 contained within the site is incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a formal “Land Charge Search”. This includes details of historic applications and constraints on a particular site. No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in the planning information obtained from Public Access. Similarly the information contained does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a planning decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer’s own risk.
Important – Copyright Notice
Planning application information submitted to the Council is protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.
CAUTION: Printed copies and uncontrolled electronic copies of any documents may not be the latest revision.
Please note:
- The Public Access System is normally available 24 hours a day, but may not be available between 11pm and 6am on the last day of the month due to backup procedures.
- The site has been optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer (minimum 5.5). Users of Mozilla based browsers such as Netscape and the Opera browser, may experience compatibility issues while trying to browse our site.
- You may also experience problems if you have added your own pop-up block software. If this is the case, see your own documentation for enabling the above address.
