Did you know that in the first two and a half years of a baby's life they will use on average 6,500 nappies? If these are of the disposable type they will be buried in landfill sites and will cause serious environmental problems. In addition they do not break down but remain in situ for anything from 50 to 100 years.
Real nappies provide an alternative. The modern version of the towelling nappy bears little or no resemblance to the traditional terry towelling squares that our mums and grannies remember. There are also nappy laundering services for busy mums. They will collect, wash and return your babies' nappies.
