As well as highlighting the cost of food waste to resident's pockets and the environment, the Love Food Surrey (external link) website offers a whole host of advice, tips and leftover recipes, developed by Surrey chef Carmela Tomkins.
Residents can also find out about road shows coming to their local area, offer their own tips and recipes for others to share, make a pledge to reduce food waste and enter regular competitions with great prizes.
