| The Leader of the Council, Deputy Leader and seven councillors are appointed annually to form the Cabinet. They make recommendations to the Council on the budget, Council Tax levels and major policies. Each councillor on the Cabinet, except the Leader, has a responsibility for different areas of the Council.
