	Council Tax If you are moving house, you have a duty to advise Council Tax within 21 days. The Council Tax team will try and deal with the details within 10 working days of being advised. You can contact the office direct on 01784 451499 or you can e-mail ctax@spelthorne.gov.uk or alternatively www.iammoving.com (external link) will forward your details to all relevant parties. Electoral register Electoral Registration is an entirely separate process performed by the Electoral Registration Officer appointed by the Council. This is because not all people who pay Council Tax are eligible to vote and not all those who are eligible to vote actually pay Council Tax. Don’t forget that you should also change your voter registration details.
