Small electrical items are collected weekly as part of our '3 services in 1' collection (food waste, textiles and small electricals).
Find out when your collection day is
On your collection day, make sure small electrical items are:
The items will be recycled so they do not need to be in working order.
If you think your bin has been accidentally missed, contact us within one working day by completing the online form or contact Customer Services. We will return to collect your small electricals if you have followed the above instructions correctly.
You can collect up to ten clear plastic bags from the Council Offices or Community Centres free of charge (for use with textiles OR small electricals)
This service is available to most but not all households. If a collection date is not listed for you on My Spelthorne, it means you do not currently receive this service. However, you can take small electrical items to a recycling bank or if they are in good working order, please take them to a charity shop.
Please take large items to the Community Recycling Centre in Shepperton or arrange a bulky waste collection (chargeable service). This includes items such as televisions, computers, microwave ovens and washing machines. For more information about recycling visit: www.recyclenow.com
