Engaging older people in decision making

The Surrey 50+ Network website (external website) aims to improve public services for older people by meeting their needs, listening to their views and encouraging and recognising their contribution.

Objectives

6. To acknowledge the experience of older people in the community and to listen to their views and encourage and recognise their contribution

7. To support the development of Surrey 50+ groups in each of the Borough and District Areas.

8. To link the work of Surrey 50+ to the South East Older People s Advisory Group and to the national Better Government for Older People network
