The Electoral Register

The Electoral Register is a list of addresses and the names of the eligible voter who are living there in the Spelthorne area.  You cannot vote if your name does not appear on the Electoral Register.

There are two versions of the Electoral Register – the Full Register and the Edited Register.
The Full Register is used for elections, checking credit applications and the prevention and detection of crime.  A copy of the register is held at the Council Office reception and is available for inspection.  This is carried out under supervision by one of our team so we advise people to check with our office first to ensure we have someone available.
The Edited Register is for general sale and can be used for any purpose including commercial activities such as marketing. Although your details will still appear on the Full Register, you can choose not have your name showing on the Edited Register.
