Description: Water Pollution is the contamination of streams, lakes, and underground water by harmful substances. It is the responsibility of the Environment Agency to regulate Spelthorne’s surface and underground water, and the responsibility of the Drinking Water Inspectorate to assess the quality of our drinking water.
